Posted: May 29, 2010 in New Books

After making my decision to split my books in two last week, I have  just completed the ending of the first one. THE SUGARLIGHT STALKER.  The second novel retains the original title, IF EVER THE TWAINS SHALL MEET.

As of August 3, 2011 (my late mother’s birthday who passed away on July 2, 2011), this project has been shelved.

I just made an executive decision to split my story in half because the middle does seem to be an ending in its own right; and because I had a 177,000 word novel and I need it to be smaller. After going back and forth on the idea I just did it and now I have two completed novels. One that’s 91,000 and one that’s 86,000 words. Man, am I proficient or what!

The Associated Press Stylebook states, “Ellipses also may be used to separate individual items within a paragraph of show business gossip or similar material.”

This is my first post.  I just finished my first novel.  The key word here is finished.  I have six or seven unfinished novels floating around in my computer, plus a screenplay, (that I finished).  I’m not sure what else to add at this point but at least it’s a start.

Oh yeah, it’s query time!
